A childhood friend and associate of New York rapper Fabolous was stabbed to death in a New York nightclub early morning on November the 23rd.
According to the police a fight broke out between two women in the club and at some point during the fight, Shamel McKinney, Fabolous' associate and childhood friend, was attacked and stabbed multiple times. Police saw him stumble out of the club bleeding from multiple stab wounds and he was rushed to the hospital where he soon passed away.
Police found a 7-inch folding knife covered in blood in a dumpster near the club. It is not yet known how the weapon was smuggled into the club and the police are currently reviewing the video tape for more clues. Fabulous is scheduled for an interview with the police sometime soon.

In a recent interview with AP, 50 Cent supported Kanye West's decision to keep touring after the sudden death of his mother Dr. Donda West. It was reported that Dr. West died after she stopped breathing. The case is very similar to Lloyd Bank's as his father had also passed away during his tour. Fifty supported Banks and encouraged him to keep touring and keep his mind on the work. "I was telling him, 'You need to go back and do what you need to do,' and he thought maybe I was a little insensitive," he said. "But I can definitely understand how that's a huge loss, and how that would be."
"That's really an unfortunate situation and I hope he can work his way through it, It's good to see him actually touring; You can work your way back into a comfortable space where you can deal with those situations," said fifty.

Pretty good song I must say.

You may have heard of it and maybe you have not. Ne-Yo was recently dropped from the R.Kelly double up tour, due to no real reason. He had done just two shows along with Keyshia Cole and J Holiday, who opened for the past two shows. It is being reported that there is no issues between R. Kelly and Ne-Yo and that it was just contractual issues and issues between Ne-Yo and the reporter. So there you have it...no beef between Kellz and Ne-Yo!

Pretty good song...Lupe doin his thing.
This is a great article i found on the XXL Magazine site called Out Takes from the Jay-Z Cover Story. Jay talks abouts 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Andre, who the best MC's are (excluding his company), him and Jim Jones, Foxy Brown, his throne, the New Jersey Nets, Frank Lucas and HIS THOUGHTS ABOUT HIS FIRST WEEK ALBUM SALES.
On first week album sales predictions:
The only thing I think about the first week is… I got a string right, and I’m in a tie with the Beatles or something. I think the Beatles are number one and the Rolling Stones. It’s either, Elvis, the Beatles and the ‘Stones. They’re all in the running. It’s me and them. I’m in the company of those four. So the next number one album puts me over another one of them. That’s what I think about the first week. Other than that, I really think about making a great album. Because that part of it is over for me. It’s really just a challenge of making music and have everybody love it. The more people love it, the better for me. That’s it, because, I’m not going to make no money off the album. What am I going to do, recoup? [Laughs] That ain’t never going to happen.
On Curtis, Marshall and Andre:
50 and I… We’re competitors but we’re cool. It’s a line of respect. You might—you just never know. Tomorrow, he might go crazy and throw a shot. But we still compete at a high level, so it’s cool. Like, it’s a respectful thing. We see each other, we laugh. We do more laughing than anything. It’s weird. I think I set the tone early, you know what I’m saying, after his first record [“How To Rob”]. I seen him when I was going on stage [at Hot 97 Summer Jam]. And I was like, “You know, I’m a get you.” I think he respected that a lot. You know, I’m more friendly with Em. I don’t really have a rivalry with him at all. Like, we talk on the phone. We talk on the phone. It’s all hip-hop at the end of the day. We all fighting for our space but if everybody fail—it’s no good. You need for other people to keep the genre alive and keep it healthy. Strong. So you’re standing on something that’s worth something. Like we still need Detox. But Dre is a perfectionist. The thing about him is you’re never going to be mad at the end result. If you ever get it, you won’t be mad.
On the best MC’s today (present company excluded):
I think Andre 3000 is amazing. I think he’s—I’d put Em and Andre… 50… 50’s more of the total package. He has the total package. Fantastic melodies and an incredible hook writer and he’s a good rapper. He’s a really good rapper. But lyrically, I would put those two guys, you know what I’m saying up there. When Andre does rap, shit. It’s like, okay. It’s inspiring. When we see each other, we talk in detail. We don’t say, “What’s up, I’ll see you later,” we talk and we’ll have words. It’s a respect thing.
On Ann Jones’ baby boy:
That [battle] thing is so over, man. That thing is so over. Like I told you, he came to the studio that day, listened to the record [“Success”], like, “Yeah!” He was excited, ready to get on it and that’s it. That whole thing—we’re adults. We went through a thing that was a little more than rap because it was personal situations involved. But at the end of the day, we was just people competing at the top. We competed, two big blows, and then two heavy joints landed, boom-boom, and we shook hands and like, “Yo, I respect you because somebody would’ve crumbled under that pressure.” “I respect you cause your still standing nigga.” [Laughs] “A nigga would’ve fell out from that joint.” “Nigga, you still standing too, but we still got that thing.” But it’s good. The fact that people still fascinated by it is great, but we’re so far past that. So far past that.
On Foxy Brown:
At this point—you can only help somebody to a certain point then you gotta let them help themselves and hopefully you’ll meet back up. That’s where it is for me. It’s like, if you see somebody just keep banging their head on the wall, and you keep fixing it and they still banging their head and they keep doing things… You gotta at some point say—alright, you—gotta stop touching that, you’re going to get burnt. Stop touching that—you’re going to get burnt. At some point, you gotta let them touch it and get burnt. And then hopefully, they’ll come back around some day. You just got to let somebody walk his or her path.
On the rocks thrown at his Presidential throne:
It’s sad. You rather a guy—and I’m not being racist—you rather a white guy who’s never went in a booth tell you that [your record’s not good]? People are cool with that. They accept that more so than from somebody’s who done it. I mean, young artists they don’t have a problem… It doesn’t benefit me if you don’t sell records. Like, what happens to me?! It fucks me up as well. There’s a red dot on my shit like there’s a red dot on your shit. But the only thing I will say, I’ve done as much or more than anybody in my three years at this time of the music business. More than any person in the business. Broke new artists, maintained careers, brought back careers more than any other person. But just because of who I am, I’m on a higher level of critique. People don’t know, who’s the guy at Jive—Barry Weiss… Mark Pitts. No one is saying nothing about Mark Pitts! He’s putting out records! But me, every single release, it’s like, scrutinized. But once again, that’s the high level people hold me to. I love it. It makes me deliver and pushes me to deliver more. But it’s the gift and the curse as well.
On failing to acquire the rights to rename the NJ Nets arena:
We wanted that. They turned us down. We’re on to the next one. John [Meneilly] called up me, like, “Yo, Izod got the thing.” I was like “Shit!” He was like, “On to the next one.” I was like, “Let’s go,” and that was it. That was big. We took a big swing. It was close—to the warning track. But that’s what happens. That’s part of it. Take your lumps, you know. Izod gave us a punch in the face.
On the real Frank Lucas:
I don’t think many people knew who he was. You know, but he did it [hustled] correctly. He did it all the way correctly. The only thing he didn’t do was leave. Cause when you get that much money there’s no hiding it. When the guy selling you the stuff is like, “Yo chill out, you gotta leave.” You gotta leave man. You gotta break out. C’mon man, now you’re being bad. That’s gluttony. God is going to punish you at this point. Right? 50 million in 1970? That’s great. 100 million in ‘70? That a little over doing it. $250 million? That’s like $2 billion or something back then. What’s wrong with him? What was he trying to do? What was the goal? What was the cut off point for him? He’s at 250! I would love to ask him that question. I’m going to ask him at the premiere.
Snoop Dogg and David Beckham will soon be making a movie together. "David and I go back years", said Snoop. "No one would have thought me and my boy David would have anything in common because we come from such separate worlds. But he has the dollars at his disposal and we're talking about putting our money together to do a movie. It's incredibly exciting."
Snoop, also said they are considering a fashion line and joked Beckham takes style tips from him. "I think he got his idea to have cornrows in his hair from me". Lol who would have though they would work together....i m excited about the project though.

Beanie Sigel is back and he is stronger than ever. He was on BET's 106 and Park on November 2, 07 and his new joint called "all of the above" featuring R. Kelly was premiered. This song is fiya!!! My fav song out right now. Welcome back Beans! His new album called "the solution" will be dropping Dec. 11. 2007 so be on the lookout.
The G-Unit crew is back with their new single "feel good" released Nov. 1. It features 50 cent, Lloyd banks, Tony Yayo, and Yung Buck. This is a pretty good song but i personally didn't like video too much. Definitely shouldnt be watching it in skool or sometin lol. Well here it is.

JAM'N 94.5's annual power house concert in Boston was packed with surprises as an unexpected guest turned up on stage during Kanye's hit single "big brother" performance. Yes sir!, Jay Z came outta nowhere at the climax of big brother and the crowd went wild, cheering and shouting and yelling everywhere!
Now Kanye didnt really need Jay coming out, as he had the crowd goin by himself, and his {all-female orchestra}. Kanye is a great performer and one of the things he does is pump up the crowd, he may say refrains like "Where's my lovely ladies?" and "Boston, make some noise!". But Kanye and Jay sure make a hell of a team when they are on stage together. Def Jam is definitely going hard this year.
Cassidy ft. Kanye West, Swizz Beats and Ne-Yo My Drink n my 2 Step {Remix!!!}
Posted by Harp at 12:27 PM
This remix is fiyaa! It features Kanye West, Swizz Beats and Ne-Yo. Oh, and don't forget, B.A.R.S. be dropping Nov. 6. 07.
The video for the latest single off of 50 Cent's Curtis album, has been shot a few days ago and here is a sneak peak of it. The song's original name was ill still kill, but was changed due to the name being to threatening. 50 is really pissed off by this... Lol!

When asked about his single "gossip" Lil Wayne said, “I recorded that song in 2006, I don’t make records or say anything about people. I don’t beef with people. Everybody knows that. … My words are more important than you. I got kids listening to me. I got grown folk listening to me. I got intelligent people listening to me. I want the words I say to come across important. I want you to relate those words to me, not some guy or some girl. If you hear about me beefing with somebody, you gonna hear about it when I’m in jail.” Many people thought that the song was a response to the 50 Cent shots, but he clearly states it wasn't. 50 Cent continues to lure Lil Wayne, but it seems that Lil Wayne will not be bitting any time soon.
This is a brand new song that T. I recorded in response to Luda. This is fire! Ludacris dissed T.I. earlier on the "i get money remix" and this is T.I.'s response. Hope you like it.
The judge has released rapper T.I. (born Clifford Harris) on $3 million dollar bond and he must remain in home confinement until his trial . Judge Alan Baverman said the singer must remain under house arrest at a home in Henry County. He did not release any more details about the location. T.I. will be monitored 24 hours a day and he must pay for the private monitoring service.
He can only stay in the house unless he has a medical appointment or court appearance. He cannot own any firearms and cannot have contact with any witnesses or informants in the case. "If any threats befall [them]... the court will be looking to you," Baverman said. "Yes, your honor," Harris said. "Do you understand that?" Baverman asked Harris after repeating the warning again. "Yes, your honor," Harris answered from his seat between two of his four high-profile attorneys.
After the competition of the album sales between Kanye West and 50 Cent, we though they would emerge cool with each other. But things seem to be looking very different. The tension is definitely there between the two rappers. 50 Cent has been dissing Kanye West non-stop since the competition and he did it again on Oct. 19 at the Powerhouse show in Philly. He was there to replace T.I. due to his arrest, and he gave the crowd a surprise. He played Kanye West's song "stronger" and put the white shades on and danced around while stripping his shirt off. He also asked the crowd "am i still number 1?" but may not have gotten the response he liked.
Cassidy recently caught up with SOHH and explained the lyrics of his "Amusement Park" freestyle. The main reason behind the diss was the fact that he didn't like what Lil Wayne was doing. Cassidy stated that:
"I don't got nothing against Lil' Wayne personally other than what I addressed," Cass told SOHH. "He was even on my last album [I'm A Hustler]. I feel as though he's one of the nicest dudes out right now, like really going in hard lyrically. But I just don't respect what he doing, like kissing Baby."
"Everybody got their right to feel differently," he continued. "I don't like that. Even if that was his real pop, like I said in the past, I still wouldn't agree with it. But that's not even his real pops. He met him when he was 12, 13, 14 years old. So it's like what age did you start kissing the man?"
50 Cent
In the next King magazine 50 Cent talks trash about Lil Wayne. When he was asked about the lyrics of Part-Time lover, regarding the rhyme, “You make me want to kiss you like Baby do Wayne/And make you call me Daddy like Baby do Wayne/Damn, that shit sounds gay, it’s insane/I guess that’s the price a lil’ **** pay for fame.”
He replied, "I’ve already baited Lil’ Wayne to come on out so I can break his little neck. My consistency will break his neck the same way LL’s consistency broke Canibus’. Lil’ Wayne is a talented rapper but not a great songwriter. He has had great verses on other people’s projects, but they were not his complete ideas over production that he picked. He’s not marrying the right production and lyrics to make classic hit records."(allhiphop.com)
When he was asked why he is bothering him eventhough Wayne is not relplying, he said "Why not break his neck? I got nothing else to do. If they set you up to believe you are in a situation you’re not actually in yet, then you go out there… See, he’s saying what he’s saying to Jay because Jay didn’t respond to him. I’m giving him something to work off. Is that one of 50’s laws? Yeah. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense."
To be continued...
